Rationale:

     I chose my research brief B paper, because I felt that it shows my understanding of human rights and social justice, by engaging in systematic social change to alleviate economic deprivation and oppression by applying change strategies to begin the process of achieving a just society in a global community. I have a personal interest in social policy and affecting social policy on a local, state and national level. I think you have to be able to effectively assess and evaluate policy to be a well-rounded Social Worker. Policy affects everything we do so I feel that you have to know how to apply it to practice.
